Scoring and Quizzes

Scoring turns a standard form into a quiz. Assign point values to answer options, show instant feedback, and display results on the end screen.

Enable scoring

1. Select a Choice node on the canvas
2. Toggle on Answer key in the node settings
3. Set a score value for each answer option (e.g. 1 for correct, 0 for incorrect)
4. Optionally toggle on Show feedback to highlight correct/incorrect answers after the respondent selects

Repeat for each scored node in your quiz. The respondent's total score is the sum of points from all answered nodes.

Display results on the end screen

1. Select your End Screen node
2. Toggle on Show score in the node settings
3. Respondents will see a message like "You scored 4 out of 5"

Example: geography quiz

1. Create a new form titled "Geography Quiz"
2. Add 3-5 Choice nodes, each with Answer key toggled on and Show feedback enabled
3. Set the correct answer to score 1, wrong answers to score 0
4. On the End Screen, toggle on Show score so respondents see their result
5. Switch the form to Live and share
